The proposal, designed by the ICM and the science communication platform La Ciència al Teu Món, is conceived to be itinerant and easy to adapt to any space and conditions.

The Institute leads the Ocean Cities (OC-NET) initiative, which aims to promote more resilient coastal cities and make the way their citizens interact with the ocean more sustainable.

The journal is indexed in most scientific article databases and is distributed to many marine research institutions worldwide.

The Gold Medal is the highest distinction awarded by the Catalan Government and will be officially conferred on 9 September within the framework of the National Day of Catalonia celebrations.

With the new incorporations, the ICHN seeks to ensure that marine scientific knowledge is properly represented in the different tasks and activities of the Institution.

They are international profiles that develop research lines complementary to the current research portfolio of the Institute.
