On September 9, we were shocked by the news of the sudden death of our colleague Sergi Rodríquez, a worker in the CMIMA maintenance service. The ones of us who knew him had special luck, and on behalf of everyone we would like to share his memory with those people who perhaps did not have this opportunity.
Sergi was a modest and calm person, hard-working and decisive, he did things efficiently and with discretion. In addition, he was a sensitive and empathetic person, always with a smile that gave us peace and confidence.
Very committed to the centre, he came at whatever time was needed to solve any problems that might arise, and always with an excellent attitude. The CMIMA building, and therefore all the research and technology of the UTM and ICM, is possible thanks to the commitment and generosity of people like Sergi.
Sergi's co-workers have been able to enjoy his friendship. We make his spirit ours and he, wherever he is, takes us in his. Thanks, Sergi.
