Fabiola Maria Cecchini is a predoctoral researcher at the Institute of Marine Sciences (ICM-CSIC) and the University of Barcelona, Spain. Her research focuses on the development and application of ecological indicators to assess the effectiveness of restoration practices in deep-sea ecosystems, within the EU Horizon projects REDRESS (redress-project.eu) and DIGI4ECO (digi4eco.eu). She also collaborates in the EU LIFE project LIFE-ECOREST (life-ecorest.es), developing techniques for the return of accidentally captured benthic species to their natural habitats.
