The Institute of Marine Sciences (ICM), through the Equality Commission, promotes awareness and action activities with the main objective that everyone have the same treatment and opportunities.
The Equality Commission at ICM works so that there are no inequalities or discrimination that generate situations of inferiority for reasons of gender, race, age or nationality.
In 2020, two European projects, LESTGEP and RESBIOS, will work on the development and implementation of an equality plan adapted to the needs of the ICM and will impulse institutional changes towards gender equality.
